callum What do you do during the winter season months if you are luxury house Chanel? You set up your winter season headquarters in a picturesque Alpine ski village, of course. For the third consecutive year, Chanel set up its winter season headquarters in Courchevel, nestled in the French Alps. The boutique is spectacular (more on that to come next week), but what caught my attention first is the absolutely remarkable limited edition young boy Chanel Bag, exclusive to the winter season shop.
Why have a leather bag when you can go out-of-this-world with white alligator and grey orylag (super soft French rabbit fur)? Of course this bag is over-the-top, but I find it perfectly fitting for ladies who love winter season whites and luxury goods. The white alligator body of the bag is topped with a light grey fur, and amidst that are gold chains that dangle to give extra bling. The price is available upon request and while this bag is not the bag for me (for numerous reasons), I still cannot get enough of the young boy Chanel bags. The Courchevel boutique will be open through April 2013.
